Home Veggie Garden
As we are visiting the shops less, we’re seeing more popularity in households growing their own vegetables and fruits. We love this idea! In the long term you could save money from needing to buy groceries and plus, it’s much healthier to eat freshly picked produce!

Other little things that need maintenance
Look around the house to see if anything needs a little love. Here are some simple ones you can do in a short amount of time!
Replace door handles
How old do you think your door handles are? Are some of them broken and rattle?
First, choose a door handle design that you like, you can google “door handle” and get a million options!
All you need is a screwdriver to remove and replace the old door handle. If you need extra locks for better security, make sure it’s right for you! It may be worthwhile consulting a locksmith to find one that provides the best security and functionality.
Here are some sexy doorknobs!
If you live in a house, it’s time to clean your gutters.
Obviously no one will be excited to clean the gutters but they deserve some attention too. It’s important to clean them at least twice a year. The last thing you need right now are plumbing issues or structural decay in your house!
Fix that leaky faucet or showerhead.
You don’t need to call a plumber to fix that leaky tap! Most often, all you have to do is replace the rubber washer inside the tap handle. Fix that and you’ll be saving so much water.
Clean your Air Conditioner Filter!
When was the last time you had your A/C filter checked? Have you ever noticed that your A/C isn’t working as well as it used to? Or, whenever you use it your electricity bill spikes?
When your Air Conditioner filter is full of dust and not cleaned or replaced, it takes more energy to pump out your desired cool or hot air.
Plus, if a family member has any allergies or asthma, or you have a pet, it’s crucial to clean them regularly. Also, cleaning the filters will make sure you have cleaner air circulating in your home.
Some air conditioner filters need to be replaced professionally, whilst others need a simple ‘peel off the dust’ and a good rinse to be ready to go!
We hope that these little projects will help you keep active and productive. Staying at home for extended periods of time can be challenging for many -stay safe and take care!
